Cookies and similar tools
In short
This website uses no profiling or advertising cookies, no third-party analytics and no tracking social buttons. It only uses the technical tools listed below, which it needs to work: the law does not require consent for these (Article 122 of Italian Legislative Decree 196/2003 and the Italian Data Protection Authority's guidelines of 10 June 2021), which is why you see no banner.
What we use
“cheri_session” — technical session cookie, only for those who sign in to the admin panel: it keeps you signed in and expires after 12 hours or when you sign out. It is never set for guests or visitors.
“cheri-musica” and “cheri-musica-spenta” — two entries in the browser's session storage, not cookies: they remember whether the background music was playing, and where it was, or whether you turned it off. They stay on your device, are not sent to the website and disappear when you close the tab.
Guest area — it opens with the personal link you receive by email: it uses no cookies.
Third-party content, only if you ask for it
Map: the OpenStreetMap map is loaded only if you click “Show the map”; from then on OpenStreetMap receives your IP address under its own policy (osmfoundation.org/wiki/Privacy_Policy).
Payment: it takes place on Stripe's secure page, to which you are taken when you pay; Stripe's cookies and privacy policy apply there (stripe.com/privacy).
YouTube, Spotify and WhatsApp: the website only has links to these services, no embedded content. Nothing is loaded until you open them; once opened, each service's rules apply.
Microphone: if you speak to Arianna, speech recognition is carried out by your browser, which may use its own provider. The website receives only the text.
How to manage them
You can delete cookies and site storage from your browser settings. If you block the technical cookie, the admin panel will not work; the rest of the website will. Any questions: cheri.navona@voyagerrome.com.
